First let me offer my condolences to the members of the families involved in the "Tragedy" in Kansas City! My heart goes out to all of those involved.

My Win Loss Record stinks as usual but it certainly has been one of those pleasures in life to "give' it a try each week in picking the winners and losers not to mention "poking" a little fun at some of the winners and losers of each game.

Coach Saban and to "The Crimson Tide" Football Team and Nation! Thank you so much for being a part of not only my life but that of so many others! I saw my mother today and she said "That was one of the most exciting and enjoyable games she had ever seen!"

Today was her 75th birthday and what more of a present could she ask for than for Alabama to win the SEC Championship? My parents have been to "Four" Alabama vs Notre Dame games if my meory serves me correctly and I have been to one. Good Luck and God Speed in your game against Notre Dame on January 7th 2013! I hope to be watching. I sure want my mama to watch the Crimson Tide bring home that 15th Championship!

Friends,

Week number 11 went about like a "Earth-worm in a fire-ant bed for me on these picks!

I offended the "Virgin Mary" at Notre Dame because I thought it was her majesty but "Damn" it was "touch-down" Jesus I was meaning to mention now Bama is number four and Notre Dame is Ahead of us so how do we work out a BCS National Championship Game between us and "Not" those "Cats from K-State? Not that
I don't Love Cat's for God's Sakes since mine was "murdered and laid to the side of the road!
well the Cat was my daughter's but "I loved her any damn way"! both my Daughter and the Cat- Lucy!
This week has just generally "sucked" except for the pleasure of actually talking to nice young girl at "The Bay Shores Market that had been fishing and had caught nothing but wasn't upset about it!
Damn what a sweet girl!
I hope she didn't mind my noticing her ears! Hell who wouldn't try to look into someone ele's ear's with ear's that look like mine but anyway? By the way they sure as hell didn't look like mine!
If I sound angry in my writing you should hear what I hear and sleep with the knowledge you'll have to wake up with half a mind and listening to people try to tell you what to do!
I really don't mean that for God's sakes because you would be crazy like me!

I didn't cross reference the post this morning to see if I made last minute changes to my picks for last week but according to the original written list i was a miserable  5 up and 8 down!

I hate this key-board because you have to bang on it to get the damn upper-case keys to work!

Anyway it was a miserable week including my favorite teams loss to an upstart bunch from "Colege Station" I have to Admire because "the Bear" and a bunch of people he "Loves" are from out there in Texas!

I just have one I don't care for but that is ancient history!

2. Them Damn "Kats" from Kansas State that must have "Staff" and not "Owners" because My doctor told me so and the "Vet" over by Rite-aid says so!

4. The "The Thunderen Herd from Up there and if from them top three down there in in T-Town!

5. Them "Gawga" Bull-Dog's" from over in Athen's, Gawga. No offense to Greece but Damn. I hope we pass a budget soon cause yall are "budget hell" over in Greece!

6. Old Woody Hayes "Ohio State" Buck-Eye's and "Tommy Tuberville" down in Gun-slinger territory  you better watch out man cause I hate them folks talking in my ear too! If they get in your assistant's ear they might take your gun's away my friend! They got in my ear and my kids! I lost my time with my time with my kids, my wife and my carreer! Go Buck-eye's!

7. Them Gator's! Get them Ragin Cajins out of your ears ear's quick my Gator Friend's quick! I mean quick!

This post was los, robbed or stolen last evening november the 4th 2012 prior to my being able to get it posted and I said I wouldn't post it again(write) it but here goes an altered version from memory.

I was up 4 and down 7 last week but we dang sure hope to do bett'r this week to bett'r that dad-gum record from 32-20 or somethin like that this here week!

Thursday night's pig-skin fry start's with them Blue Raider's from Middle Tennessee visitin them hill-topper's in show nuff "Sun-Belt" Show-Down!
I think the game game starts at: 8:15 CDT!

Friday night's "Extravaganza" is out West south of them Beaver's and Duck's!
It's them their "Hot as Hell" Huskies at them Western Bear's of California!

Journal Entry 102812-A: Cliff's College Football Picks! Week 9 Results.

Friends,

Good Sunday!

I'm not gonna too complicated here this morning with the results for last weeks picks.

Week #9 wasn't a pretty sight on or off the field or even on the screen here except for the plate "My mother bought me and The Crimson Tide's whipping of the "Bull dog's from Mississippi State last evening which I fell asleep during. I think it was around the third quarter but who knows or cares but me?

Anyway.

I enjoyed the first half of both the Irish and The tide's games aqainst The Sooner's and The Bulldog's.

I finished the week a dismal 4 up and 7 down!

I guess that puts me at: 32 up and 20 down.

Have a Great Day! Maybe I'll do better next week as do I hope your teams do as well unless your LSU but I better check schedule cause it's early on Sunday Morning and you may be playing someone else but "The Tide" next week! Week #10!

Please give it some thought.

What can any business team accomplish in four years?

I feel a lot can be accomplished but in the private business world it takes "ten" years to feel comfortable as an owner, CEO, what have you!

Our President and his team at the very least deserve our support for eight years; I hope you would agree.

Please use all the major economic, social, international and natural events be your deciding factor for a decision in November 2012 and I hope your decision is to vote for four more years for our President and his team.

The friends and relatives and everyone in the bar or associated with the "terrorist" actions of a what to my knowledge was the act of one lone individual in a flash of gunfire and a hail of bullets the lives of many people were destroyed even if they didnt prish in night before lasts assault on the bar in Tuscaloosa, Alabama werr as stated above were damaged in some way or another.

I wish, I truly wish the best for all of those involved and I wish the the survivors the injured and their friends and families the best in their grief at such a terrible time.

If your child or a friend or relative is born with Microtia it may be a good idea to consult both the Internal ear surgeon and the surgeon to perform the external ear-reconstruction simulitaneously as was the experience my wife at the time had the good fortune of being able to do in our family members case in the mid to late nineties.

Doctor Mark Mitchell Jones certainly "improved" the life of one of my family members in the 1990's!

I was coming back from Atlanta after a visit with a family member in the 1990's and having stopped at a Waffle House a man in his late 20's to mid-thirties saw my family member with bandages over his ear and walked over.

He pulled back his hair and said "I was born with Microtia." I was stunned to be honest.

Journal Entry 091012-C: Ole Miss vs Alabama 100888 in Tuscaloosa!

Fellow Bama Fans,

"Warning"! The following account of my "solo" trip to see The Ole Miss Rebels play The University of Alabama "Crimson Tide" may be "offensive" to some Tide Fans!

The October of 1988 was not one of the better in my life!

I was seperated from my second wife whom would soon become my third wife.

Please stay with me.

Long-story short. I at the time was working as President and Operations Manager for "Southern Foundation Drilling Company, Inc.

Our crew and I had just completed a job in Leeds, Alabama at the elementary school East of Birmingham and it being a Friday the crew wanted to get back to Mobile.

I decided to stay over and go to the game on Saturday Afternoon.

I think I spent the night in Birmingham because I remember going to J.C.Penny and purchasing a "black member's Only Jacket because it get's quite cool occasionally in North Alabama in October!

I also purchased my first pair of "cowboy" boots!

The next morning I was up early and on my way to T-Town for the game that wouldn't turn out so great for Bama or Coach Curry or his office window!

It wasn't his fault nor mine as I used to foolishly joke about!

I sat in the Ole Miss section which at the time was in the South-East corner of tBryant-Denny Stadium!

It was a good game and Ole Miss played the hell out of us!

I was miserably stunned and no offense so was every one else in the stadium both Bama and Rebel fans!

Toward the end of that beautiful but miserable day as it appeared Bama might lose the Ole Miss fans were pessimistic!

I had grown tired of the quiet on both sides. Yall please don't take offense? I feel like you ought to leave every game "win or lose" without your voice!

I told the Ole Miss fans I think yall are gonna win and they replied "no were not"! I replied "I think you might"!

I thought or maybe I thought "I wish yall or somebody would yell?"

Ole Miss won that game 22-12!

I finished the year "re-marrying" my second wife in the Tuscaloosa Court-House while my "new-born" daughter Allison Elizabeth Wooley cried with a case of "colic" in the arms of both my now ex-wife "Valerie" and mine!

We remarried in Tuscaloosa, Alabama because I had won the contract to put the at the time "new" Science and Engineering Building on Campus; north-east of Bryant-Denny!

We worked on that foundation in December 1988!
