Mama,
You are missed very much today as everyday on your 95th Birthday by your grandson that spent so much time with you growing up that I only have room in this post to mention a couple of the things you and I experienced together!
1. The Minor Bird you used to take me to see at the old K-Mart in Tillmans Corner, Alabama way back in the early 1970's! I was amazed as a five year-old by that bird that talked! You even let me hide in the clothes racks while you shopped although I know it got on your nerves!
2. Mama your the only Alabama "Crimson Tide" fan ive ever known that was too nervous to watch a game! Grandaddy Sauce had to keep you updated when the game was on the line from the Living Room.
3. Spending a few days in Florida on the "Glass Bottom" Boats in 1977 after you and grandaddy told me for years how wonderful the experience would be and it was a wonderful experience except that I had to watch you cry your eyes out in the motel room when it was announced that Elvis Presley had died.
4. Watching you, mother and Kathy scream holler and cry in the Mobile Civic Center from the balcony as Elvis Presley performed on stage only a year or two prior to his death.
Mama there are many other special things I remember about you especially that you let me eat all the Krispy Kreme doughnuts I could eat then keep you up all night on a sugar buzz!
Mama I love very much and I cant wait to see yall in heaven one day!
