It's hard to be a Volunteer until you get into those Smokies and Carolina looks mighty pretty from up on the Peak looking out across the mist below on a January Afternoon so we'll make this post a little of both Orange and Blue!

Dern that could make a Auburn Tiger! Shoot how could a Alabama fan not pull for them Tigers! Yes well probably put our BCS Championship prediction out tomorrow or so but no bets taken that was a soccer joke!

I have or we or somebody has got to get out a decent article for any of you that haven't been down to Mobile in while cause this town has weathered the economy well for a change and has changed a lot over the last few years!

The go-Daddy bowl post may be one that i'll spend a little time talking about Mobile a little.

I was in the bank yesterday and a man was asking about some tickets to Bellingrath Gardens and if you haven't knee boarded on Fowl river at Dark you've missed out on a late September afternoon!

Camped out on Sand Island just off  Dauphin Island with your girl or your old man you just ain't lived the coast and just the other day they mentioned on the news that they soon plan to I think hopefully seperate the two Islands!

The pier has been on Sand Island since Katrina.

Why did the Mobile Infirmary ask that people have their children assessed for ADHD?

Friends,

When the Mobile Infirmary moved into Baldwin County and published a Magazine asking that parent's have their Children assessed for ADHD or ADD I was thrilled!

 I thought to my self what a wonderful opportunity for the children of Baldwin County! I was hoping that I had been right and only a small portion of the County had been led to beleive something that was not true and didn't know about ADHD knowing that seemed almost impossible considering the highly educated population of this County and how it had grown to include so many wonderful and highly educated or self-educated along with the rest that had worked here most of our lives and lived in Mobile!

When I moved here from Mobile after living in Mobile but working here in this County my whole life except for also working for a Company where I had traveled to 6 Southern States and a couple of other jobs as most likely listed somewhere on my profile. On one of these sites or Face Book or where ever I met a couple or three people that didn't care much for outsiders but for the most part this County has been good to me and my Family which was an understatement!

The place is home and not one thing that I've ever done would lead me to feel otherwise. Now does that sound like a confession from a man that had a confession to make or does it sound more like a man that is struggling to determine the what, why's and when's of some of the reasons I have had such an assault upon my senses and at times upon myself for claiming almost shouting now at the top of my lungs Halleluiegh that this County had one more Organization dedicated to the betterment of man kind through it's children's education through the treatment for ADHD!

Forgive me for a lack of grammer this morning because I stayed up late last night to post some article's and work on my computer so that contrary to popular beleif it would seem I can do the two things that lead to fullfillment of your goals for your family and hopefully one more person two on this planet!

That is too take care of my family and make a living at the same time which gives some of us that work so much the only alternative other than to write, if we had time in any other business to help somebody!

How am I trying too help somebody? Well it sure wasn't seen as a bad idea by the folks at my doctor's office when I told them of my idea and that I had every intention of making it clear that people should see a professional but I had already started this blog and I'm not an idiot so I had already began to say that people should see a professional and I meant Men, women and children for the treatment of a condition or two that had become such a thorn in my side that I thought I was the only person on this side of the Bay that had heard of ADHD!

I knew of it from being a child and living on an Island which by the way no one else seemed to know about it but my Uncle in Birmingham certainly did as did his wife my aunt Jane!

My experience was being too ADHD to really give much thought to it as a child because I spent all of my time trying to get out of doing school work so I could go to work and after work ride a bicycle 20+ miles a day in the winter time or in the summer plan an escape and adventure in my jon boat for whatever reason I could come up with reasonable or not! since I couldn't come up with a reasonable idea I grew up at 16 or a little earlier in my over confident mind and when I my girlfriend became pregnant nothing I had anything to do with I said "Great"!

That is my excuse to get the hell out of school and make a million dollars!

Thank god for my son where ever the hell he is because he taught me something I just didn't pay attention!

Oh it was in my memory banks I just didn't think I needed any professional advice because I was so smart til I almost killed myself and lost my ability to self-medicate a term that you would think any idiot would understand could be both good and bad depending on your diagnosis of yourself based on what knowledge you stumbled on in your ADHD minds journey through this life!

 That's why I might as well say it there are so many people in prison or close to winding up dead or in prison themselves over being most likely a full time thrill seeker and not a part-time thrill seeker that has some idea of right from wrong and how to work for thrill, play for thrill and thanks to my parents, some success that opened the door to find others that worked so hard from being a builder to playing the best damn music that I had heard from the south since the Black Crowes or stop!

Picked up again at 2:09 pm on 12-16-10.

I don't feel like completing, editing or otherwise doing much at all because I'm just trying to figure where I am at after sleeping on and off for the last few days catching hell when I'm do wake up!

Who knows what I wrote and I doubt anyone really cares but I hope they do because I can't take anything but love and that's a thing that is hard to come by these days!

God I hope you are not in my shoes in anyway shape or fashion because I love everbody else regardless of how they feel about me. Insanity could be but it's mainly because I've had to much sleep and I'm out of the loop!

Although I'm scared to take one these mixed up Adderalls that weren't mixed up when I bought them at CVS I'm going to flip a coin and take one and hope for the best because my life depends on one of the damn things working right! wish me luck please because I'm not kidding around here. I wish I was.

Ladies I'm Manic by 21st cenutry Standards but ADHD by 90's standards!

 Ladies don't be concerned I'm really not dangerous in fact the shame of it is I'm lucky I'm not in the nut house for being ADHD enough to stand the pressure to not be and I am here to say life was better when I was under cover and didn't know it! That means what it means except I wasn't anything but just unfortunate person timing wise cause you ladies not old enough to remember didn't know that some of us were lucky enough to either have parents that were up on it or others of us were raised by good parents but we just were late in life lucky enough to find out the old fashioned way but it was at the Exxon, Texaco, and every
other station in town had the original formula for what today is ADHD medication and if I told you anymore I get shot but look it up and it goes back 135 years! Problem is people on the street make it into something else and it got to be a problem but it sure ain't Adderall or ritalin and I figure you know that.
 What I'm doing now is a job and it is to educate you and every body else but only to have some understanding and see a doctor and please stay away from the other stuff cause it isn't anything but the worst stuff on the planet and be careful about what people tell you because you don't want to be in the boat next me trying to paddle against the tide of what got fouled up around here and i guess all over the country in 2004 and prior to that by some companies that were the devil in disquise by putting one element drug found in an over the counter cough medication and it's fine for a cough but not for Asthema or ADHD!
 Even you doctor will prescribe an off label medication and the best thing is to stay away from the stuff but let me say this being mean and nasty is the world's problem along with being dramatic in your life!
 The she said he said stuff get's somebody in a lot of trouble and if a man's mean enough to come at you over nothing and beat you up he is no good. He can't change through therapy and it is best to let each other have some space when your angry about something and that as you younger ladies may not have found yet is what most of men were taught as kids. If not then that's just a shame and this is the south so if we aren't polite or if we are jealous enough to want to fight every man that think your beautiful and he doesn't appreciate a compliment from someone enough to handle it in a way that keeps you safe then leave.
  Money means nothing! A realtionship means more and I know because I've had it all and nothing as well and i'd love to have a little more money but not to the point that I would die for it which is what it feels like to lose a 20+ year marriage over losing money.
 Work? Oh you know us men want to work and if not you know that so if the man is ADHD he might be quick tempered but there is only two ways for him control it the best he can and give him a christmas present to the doctor and hell be fine. Help him or her because if you want to have the benifit of the medication you have to have the free will and it takes time becuase the benifit form my own experience is more than a measley 3-5 % more like 10% or so by my own estimates but that is based on everybody's individual body and how much they are prescribed and if your child is ADD or ADHD they most likely ould benifit as well but be careful because they need to be able to explain the way it helps or if it is not the right medication and if your thinking this out most medications are based on weight and height so less is better with kids from a non-professional stand point and even with men but none of those medications work 24 hours a day!
  Please be wary of any doctor that is not up on such things. Ladies please be wary of the differences between ADD, ADHD and Bi-polar and if your child has had trauma in their life maybe they are depressed and that makes attention and focus more of a problem as well as conduct in school and home is something you can control.
 I am no doctor and some of the information you see on television or especially online is tilted toward the possible heart issue and if you don't just get that child or yourself checked out then you have made a mistake and that seems about as easy as anything since it is reported heavy on the right of center or vise-versa in some ways you just have to understand that some of the medication makes your heart race and some doesn't and that is what your child should be able to explain to you and his or her doctor.
 Please be careful but understanding and let your family member know you love and care for them and try not to test them to much becuase the whole idea is to gain attention, focus and patience not to mention a little more control over some emotions without the pitfalls of some other medication but that is your doctors decision.
