Journal Entry 060312-B: It is Official!
Bama Nation Planet Wide,
It is official!
The University of Alabama Crimson Tide vs The The University of Oklahoma Sooners in the best of three Championship Final Tomorrow night on ESPN at 8pm EDT!
Congratulations to The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Women's Softball Team, Coaches, Fans that made the trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and to Jackie Traina and her family on a magnificient performance to get the "Tide" into the Championship Series against a fantastic Oklahoma Sooner Team!
My hats off to the University of California Golden Bear's as well!
I am a relitively new fan to "women's college softball" as I have developed a lot of respect for Women's sports over the last few year's and I have found that the Women deserve our respect that play college sport's and definitely our attention and support just as much as the Football Teams, Basketball Teams, Baseball Teams our favorite University's Field!
The pride, determination, work ethic, physical training, mental strength and the enthusiasm are there just like they are with the men's sports!
I hope more men and women that are fans of our men's teams would take the time to watch or attend a few of these sporting events that maybe haven't.
Roll Tide Roll!
God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!
