Updated 121814: Friend's and Customer's I have provided a link to Wikipedia because if you will check out the Cuban Resources Section you will find that in 2006 The United States Geological Survey gave The Cuban Government information that there is "Black Gold" down there that can be used, sold or in other words traded hopefully with The United States of America.
To be honest it makes go "Hmm so this is a spur of the moment decision huh?" The Republicans are against our normalizing relations?"
P.S.- Four U.S. Presidents tried to buy Cuba before Spanish American War which actually gave Cuba it's Independence. Winston Churchill was on the Island at that time right along with Teddy Roosevelt.
